Work as a part of the Growth Team, reporting directly to the Growth Head.
You will play a key role in the private label vertical of the company and be responsible for leading the relationship with ecommerce marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Flipkart (and more) in multiple jurisdictions like the USA, UK, India, Germany, Japan, Canada, Australia.
You will be the custodian of all essential marketplace metrics, along with things like returns, cancellations, ODRs etc. and take the responsibility of keeping the product sourcing and operations teams adherent to quality standards.
You will be accountable for account health and hygiene across all these platforms, including maintenance of operational metrics within desired thresholds, taking ownership of every aspect of selling on the marketplace and coordinating with the relevant internal teams (operations, marketing etc.) to ensure seamless functioning.
You will be expected to grow the relationship with marketplace partners at two levels - one, launching new marketplaces and jurisdictions in line with the business growth strategy and two, strengthening existing relationships to ensure meaningful value for us as a business.
We are in the process of launching multiple brands in a private label model and would like this person to work closely with marketplaces to identify growth opportunities that could help us gain better visibility on these platforms along with improving efficiencies across the board.
Desired Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is someone with 5-8 years of experience in managing ecommerce marketplaces for private label or D2C businesses, preferably with global exposure.
We are looking for someone with good communication and strong interpersonal skills, to be able to manage relationships with multiple marketplaces around the world.
The candidate should possess strong attention to detail, along with critical and analytical skills, to be able to spot both threats and opportunities, and act on both in time.
The candidate should be able to build a culture of discipline and adherence to processes, especially in order fulfilment, to ensure maintenance of quality in day-to-day operations.
Candidates who have worked in fast-paced environments like those of startups or new and growing business divisions would be preferred.
The candidate should share our mindset of working with incremental improvements and must be open to learn new things quickly. We are looking for someone who can work independently with a result-focus and is not afraid to experiment within accountability.
The candidate should be solution-oriented with the ability to think clearly, logically and even laterally, when presented with a problem. We need someone who can communicate freely and fluently and can work efficiently in an environment of remote team members.
